Job summary

Mills Pond Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver evidence-based treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will help implement patient-centered plans, document progress, and collaborate with the rehab team to ensure high-quality care for residents.

Responsibilities include carrying out approved treatment plans, maintaining timely progress notes, and contributing to a supportive, professional on-site

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
• Strong documentation writing skills.
• Document patient progress on weekly progress notes.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide treatment by adhering to goals developed by the OT.
• Provide feedback to the supervising OT via documentation or other facility policies.
