Job summary

Mills Pond Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to carry out best-practice treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will provide care aligned with goals set by the OT and document progress accordingly.

Experience in long-term or geriatric care is preferred. Strong documentation skills, reliability, and teamwork are essential to deliver patient-centered care in a supportive rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient's progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence.
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Carry out best-practice treatments under supervision of the OT.
• Provide treatment according to goals set by the OT.
• Document patient progress in weekly progress notes.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to ensure patient-centered care.
• Maintain professionalism and punctuality at all times.
