Job summary

Mills Pond Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist in a long-term care setting.

The role requires a valid state license and registration, strong documentation skills, and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care for geriatric populations. All shifts are available, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care preferred
• Well versed with documentation writing
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatments under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Document patient progress and weekly notes.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
