Independence Rehab is seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the Cascades at Riverwalk team in Midvale, Utah. You will support residents’ rehabilitation, recovery, and long-term care, collaborating with therapists and the care team to drive meaningful progress.

Qualifications

• Current Utah OTA license in good standing.
• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Organized, self-motivated, and patient-focused.
• Passion for working with the geriatric population.
• One year of SNF experience preferred, but newer clinicians with strong interest in geriatrics are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Treat a diverse caseload in a skilled nursing setting.
• Perform and assist with all types of transfers.
• Provide adaptive ADL retraining and functional task practice.
• Collaborate closely with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care team.
