Independence Rehab is seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Bremerton, WA, to join our therapy team across The Willows Independent Living, Ashley Gardens memory care, and The Cottages Assisted Living. You will treat patients across all three facilities and collaborate with the therapy team to improve residents’ independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State OTA license in good standing.
• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Organized, self-motivated, and patient-focused.
• Passion for working with the geriatric population.
• One year of SNF experience preferred; newer clinicians encouraged to apply.

Responsabilités

• Treat a diverse caseload, including occasional clinically complex patients.
• Perform and assist with all types of transfers.
• Provide adaptive ADL retraining and functional task practice.
• Collaborate closely with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care team.
• Competency training is available to support growth in any relevant areas.
