Job summary

HudsonView is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a compassionate rehab team. The role provides occupational therapy treatments to residents to enhance independence under supervision of a Registered OT.

A strong focus on ADLs, mobility, and individualized plans is expected. We offer Flexible schedule options—Full time, Part Time, and Per Diem—plus benefits including Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, 401K, PTO, Holiday Pay, and Over time availability; Weekly

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program recognized by the AOTA; eligibility for certification.
Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state.

Responsibilities

Implements resident’s individualized treatment plan under supervision of a Registered OT.
Provides OT treatments including ADLs and range of motion exercises.
Performs activities of daily living evaluations under the OT direction.
Organizes and facilitates treatment groups with the OT.
Instructs residents and families in OT techniques under supervision.
Collaborates with rehab team to develop programs and activities.
Maintains timely documentation for all residents treated.
Attends care and staff meetings as OT representative.
Maintains and reports equipment needs or repairs.
Ensures high quality service in a caring environment respecting residents’ rights.
