Job summary

Vitruvian Health, a leading healthcare system, seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to assist in treatment under supervision. You will support age-appropriate therapy, assess needs, and help with transfers and documentation in outpatient, inpatient, or industrial sites as needed.

Requirements include a graduate of an accredited COTA program, BLS CPR, and eligibility for Georgia OT licensure; new graduates welcomed.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited program for COTA and as evidenced by primary source verification.
• Licensure: Registered Certified Occupational Therapist license or eligible for license in the state of Georgia.
• Experience: May be new graduate; willingness to pursue certification in physical agent modalities.
• Skills: Knowledge of BLS CPR; ability to assess patient needs by age and ability level; basic splinting.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a registered Occupational Therapist, assist in treatment of referred patients of all ages.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and assess data related to age-specific needs.
• Maintain safety and assist with patient transfers and documentation as required.
