Job summary

Vitruvian Health is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support therapeutic services under supervision. You will assist in treating patients across age groups and demonstrate competence in addressing age-appropriate needs with the rehabilitation team.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited COTA program, with basic first aid and CPR knowledge, and eligibility for GA licensure. On-site work in our health system is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited program for COTA.
• Licensure: Registered Certified Occupational Therapist license or eligible for license in GA.
• Experience: May be a new graduate.
• Certification in physical agent modalities is preferred but not mandatory.
• Skills: Knowledgeable in basic first aid and CPR.
• Ability to obtain and interpret information for age-specific needs.
• Ability to identify needs for and complete basic splinting.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a registered Occupational Therapist, utilizes Occupational Therapy skills to assist in treatment of referred patients of all age populations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and assess data relative to age-specific needs.
• Support appropriate patient care and assist rehabilitation team as needed.
