Select Specialty Hospital - Midtown Atlanta is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our inpatient recovery team in Midtown Atlanta. You will treat patients with complex needs under the supervision of an OT, document care per policy, and participate in ongoing education.

This full-time role offers a weekday schedule, competitive hourly compensation from $30 to $44, a thorough orientation, tuition reimbursement, a clinical ladder, and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy regimens and adjust treatment as needed.
• Monitor patient responses and document progress according to department policy.
• Complete documentation per policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing department and hospital education seminars.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Occupational Therapist, you will be treating patients with complex needs and challenging diagnoses.
• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions as indicated in collaboration with an OT.
• Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required or as required by state regulations.
