Aventura at Assumption Village in North Lima is seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our in-house therapy team. We offer stable full-time opportunities with benefits or flexible PRN hours to fit your schedule and goals.

As a COTA, you will work under supervision to help residents improve independence, daily living skills, mobility, and overall quality of life. Join a collaborative team focused on resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio COTA license.
• License in good standing with applicable licensing boards.
• LTC/SNF or geriatric experience preferred, but not required.
• Net Health experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Passion for helping residents reach their highest level of independence.

Responsabilités

• Providing individualized therapeutic interventions.
• Implementing treatment plans under the direction of the supervising OT.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living and functional activities.
• Monitoring and reporting resident progress and response to treatment.
• Educating residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and techniques.
• Completing timely and accurate documentation.
• Communicating resident progress and concerns to the supervising OT.
• Collaborating with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
