Job summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehabilitation team at Harris Regional. This full-time, on-site role supports patient care across general surgery, ICU, and emergency services, under the direct supervision of an OT.

You will implement treatment plans, restore function, and help prevent disability after illness or injury, while contributing to high-quality, compassionate care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Current NC certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Associate's Degree from an accredited COTA program.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist OT under licensed physician supervision to provide patient care as per treatment plans.
• Deliver occupational therapy modalities and procedures to restore function and prevent disability.
• Follow hospital policies to maintain high-quality patient care.
