Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy treatment under supervision according to state guidelines.
• Assist with patient referrals to rehab and identify appropriate patients.
• Document daily participation and progress with timely co-signature from the supervising OT.
• Ensure MD orders for treatments, re-certifications and discharges are obtained.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with scheduling, billing logs, and accurate billing for services rendered.
• Supervise junior staff or students when needed and maintain professional relationships.
