Job summary

The Springs of John Barrow in Little Rock, AR seeks a Full Time COTA to join our interdisciplinary team. You will work with occupational therapists to implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting independence and residents' well-being.

Responsibilities include hands-on interventions, one-on-one and group sessions, accurate documentation, collaboration with healthcare professionals and families, and ongoing participation in trainings to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a COTA in Arkansas.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant studies or related field.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with diverse needs and abilities.
• Familiarity with OT assessment and treatment techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy interventions, including activities, exercises, and adaptive equipment.
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, as well as participate in group activities and programs.
• Document resident progress, develop and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, family members, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and educational programs to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
