Job summary

Life Enriching Communities is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house team at Wesley Woods, New Albany, OH. This PRN - as needed role supports residents with rehabilitation and independence.

You will complete and maintain records, plan OT progress, assess residents' abilities, and design therapeutic activities in a compassionate, patient-centered environment dedicated to high-quality care for seniors.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current Ohio OTA license.
  • 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Completing and maintaining patient records, including evaluating and detailing resident progress.
  • Planning, organizing, and conducting occupational therapy progress.
  • Testing and evaluating residents' physical and mental abilities and analyzing medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals for residents.
  • Planning and implementing programs and social activities to help patients learn skills and adjust to handicaps.
