COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

All of our clinicians are credentialed to use this system, which is approved by JCAHO. The Rehab Outcomes Measure has met the criteria for inclusion in the accreditation process and is included on the Joint Commission’s list of acceptable systems. We have innovative, industry-leading programs in place, including our older-adult Model of Care, Freedom Through Functionality, and the Geriatric Enhanced Modalities (GEM) program.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform evaluations and develop effective patient treatment plans to restore, compensate, or adapt for loss of patient function.
2. Plan and administer medically prescribed therapy treatments in accordance with federal, state, and professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program or possess a current license in the state of practice.
• Problem-solving skills necessary to accomplish job duties.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Professional, positive, and cooperative attitude with patients, families, and staff.
• Capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Meet all health regulations, pass post-offer drug tests and physical exams if required.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Own transportation to travel between sites as needed.
• Proficient computer skills relevant to job duties.
