Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team and play a vital role in running our Sensory Integration program. As a COTA at Napa Post Acute, you will work closely with our Occupational Therapists to develop and implement sensory integration interventions tailored to the unique needs of each resident.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to assess residents' sensory needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
2. Implement sensory integration interventions, including therapeutic activities and exercises, to improve sensory processing and motor skills.
3. Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.
4. Provide education and support to residents and their families on sensory integration techniques and strategies.
5. Maintain accurate documentation of treatment sessions and resident progress in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

1. Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
2. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
3. Experience working with individuals with sensory processing disorders preferred.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
