Responsibilities

• Follows the therapist's plan of care and adjusts treatment based on patient response with documented communication.
• Implements patient-centered, occupation-based intervention plans tailored to individual needs.
• Demonstrates a sequential plan of treatment activities considering physical, cognitive, and behavioral limitations.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and significant others throughout the occupational therapy process.
• Educates patients, families, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using effective teaching methods.
• Produces clear, objective documentation to support clinical decisions and payer communications.
• Contributes to quality improvement activities and communicates progress with the team.
• Completes routine care activities (ROM measurements, ADL training, ultrasound, fluidotherapy) and daily EMR documentation.
