MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for East Campus on a PRN, day-shift basis. You will assist the Occupational Therapist in preparing patients, perform selected OT procedures, maintain equipment, and communicate with the rehab team and patients.

Minimum qualifications include OTA program graduate, Iowa OTA license, BLS, and mandatory reporting training; acute care experience preferred.

Formación

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association OTA program.
• Licensed as an OTA in the State of Iowa.
• BLS certification required before employment or within 30 days.
• Mandatory reporting training for child and dependent adult abuse.

Responsabilidades

• Assist OT in tests, evaluations, and treatment plan development.
• Treat patients according to the established plan.
• Communicate with patient, family, and multidisciplinary team.
• Monitor patient responses and report observations to the OT.
• Complete required documentation and maintain department records.
• Support efficient use of resources and assist with charges.
• Assist Inpatient Rehab Manager with orientation and training.
