Job summary

Simpsonville Post Acute in Simpsonville, SC is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide patient-centered therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits within a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities include implementing therapy plans, documenting daily treatments, and supporting discharge planning while ensuring compliance with state regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Active SC COTA license (in good standing).
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC and Casamba preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Follow physician treatment plans and care goals.
• Assist with documentation of daily treatments and progress notes.
• Support interdisciplinary team communication regarding resident progress.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Maintain clean, safe therapy areas and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with state practice act and facility policies.
