Job summary

The Bailey Center in Prattville is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our pediatric therapy team. You will implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed OT and help children reach their fullest potential.

You will document progress, communicate with families, and contribute to a collaborative, supportive environment that emphasizes growth and quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Current COTA licensure in the state of Alabama (or ability to obtain).
• Maintain continuing education credits.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment activities as directed by the supervising OT.
• Support children in developing fine motor, self-care, sensory processing, and social skills.
• Document daily progress notes in compliance with clinic and insurance standards.
• Communicate with parents, caregivers, and the therapy team to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining therapy materials and a safe treatment environment.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our pediatric therapy team. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans, support skill development, and help children reach their fullest potential.
