Noland Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting.
The role involves evaluating patients, assisting in treatment planning, delivering direct care, and documenting care while maintaining equipment and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Implements occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Provides occupational therapy to patients, adult or geriatric, who have conditions that are mentally, physically, developmentally, or emotionally disabling. Performs goal-directed activities to help improve physical or cognitive skills and teaches patients to use assistive devices in order to be more self-sufficient.
Associate Degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy and a current license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant from the State of Alabama.
One (1) year experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in a hospital setting preferred.
