Job summary

AKG is seeking a Technical Costing Analyst to develop accurate product-cost estimates for quotations, new products, and engineering changes. The role partners with Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Production Planning, Manufacturing, and Finance to maintain costing data in SAP and to identify margin erosion risks.

You will validate assumptions, support cost-reduction initiatives, and ensure costing templates and standards are maintained; travel may be required and a strong emphasis on safety is

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing cost estimation and cost-model development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate engineering data into cost models.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed product-cost estimates from BOMs, specs, and forecasts.
• Validate material usage, labor, overhead, tooling, and other cost elements.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing and Finance.
• Support value-engineering and design-to-cost initiatives with factual analysis.
