Kinder’s Premium Quality Seasonings & Sauces in Walnut Creek is seeking a Category Analyst to drive growth through data-driven insights. You’ll partner with Sales to optimize assortment, marketing, and presentations, using Circana, NIQ, SPINS, and Numerator data to tell compelling stories with numbers.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of category management or sales analytics in CPG, strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, and the ability to translate complex datasets into clear recommendations for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, market research, or related field.
• 2–4 years in category management, sales analytics, insights, or related field within the CPG industry.
• Strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights from complex data.
• Experience with syndicated data (Circana, NIQ, SPINS) and household panel data (Circana, Numerator).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to distill information clearly.
• Strong project management and ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics for key customer accounts and drive growth with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Sales to optimize assortment, marketing, and customer presentations.
• Develop data-driven stories and present findings in buyer meetings.
• Operate with Circana, NIQ, SPINS, and Numerator to guide strategy.
• Support sales operations with forecasts and post-promotional analysis.
