Job summary

Withum is seeking a Cost Segregation Supervisor to lead engagements, mentor staff, and deliver IRS-compliant studies across diverse real estate assets. You will oversee all phases of cost segregation projects and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.

The role supports a hybrid schedule with three days in office per week and opportunities to collaborate with tax, valuation, and real estate professionals across a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in cost segregation, construction estimating, engineering, real estate valuation or related field.
• Pursuit of CPA/EA/CCSP or similar is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IRS cost segregation guidance and asset classification.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple cost segregation engagements from planning to final delivery.
• Supervising, reviewing, and mentoring associates to ensure quality work.
• Conducting and overseeing property site inspections and document building components.
• Reviewing cost documentation and financial records for IRS classifications.
• Preparing and reviewing engineering-based cost segregation reports.
• Collaborating with tax, valuation, and real estate professionals for integrated solutions.
• Maintaining client relationships through proactive communication and service.
• Managing budgets, timelines, and client expectations.
• Assisting with practice development and proposals.
