Job summary

PACS is seeking a Reimbursement Accounting Analyst to prepare cost report schedules for Medicare and Medicaid filings, support audits, and analyze costs across cost centers. The role requires a solid accounting background, excellent organization, and the ability to work independently under deadline pressure.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, familiarity with reimbursement policies, and experience with cost reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; 3-5 years reimbursement, finance, or accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 including Excel and Copilot-enabled tools.
• Workday experience desired.
• Strong accounting background and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost report data for Medicare/Medicaid filings.
• Compile and validate supporting schedules for cost reports.
• Analyze accounts to ensure costs post to correct cost centers.
• Respond to audits with documentation (invoices, journal entries, etc.).
• Communicate with managers and staff for cost reports and audits.
