Job summary

CFS is seeking a Financial Analyst (Cost & Pricing) to partner with Accounting, Purchasing, Sales, and Quoting teams in Mishawaka, IN. You will review customer parts, analyze costs, and help re-quote decisions to improve product profitability.

You will validate BOMs and manufacturing costs, track margins, and prepare updated pricing using standard templates while collaborating across functions to drive accurate pricing and better business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience in Financial Analysis, Cost Accounting, Pricing Analysis, or Manufacturing Accounting.
• Understanding of product costing, BOMs, and manufacturing environments.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.
• Ability to independently gather information and manage projects from start to finish.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review customer parts and evaluate current pricing, costs, and profitability.
• Analyze quotes by comparing quoted costs, actual costs, and standard costs.
• Research and validate costs for raw materials, subcontracted services, and product components.
• Work with Purchasing to obtain updated vendor pricing.
• Review Bills of Material (BOMs), subassemblies, and manufacturing processes to understand total product costs.
• Calculate margins and profitability for products and customer accounts.
• Prepare updated pricing and re-quote documentation using established templates.
• Partner with Sales to ensure updated pricing is communicated to customers.
• Track completed reviews, findings, and project status using Excel and SharePoint.
• Collaborate with Cost Accounting, Quoting, Purchasing, and Sales throughout the analysis process.
