Job summary

A Sioux Falls-based manufacturer seeks a Financial/Cost Analyst to develop and maintain detailed product and production cost models using labor, material, overhead, and historical data. THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

• Develop and maintain detailed product and production cost models using labor, material, overhead, equipment, and historical performance data.
• Analyze cost variances and identify the factors driving differences between planned, standard, and actual results.
• Work closely with operations, purchasing, engineering, and finance to validate cost assumptions and improve costing accuracy.
• Support new products, process changes, and other business initiatives by evaluating financial impacts and developing cost scenarios.
• Maintain costing information and reporting tools used to monitor trends, profitability, margins, and potential financial risks.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and cost-improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Prepare financial analysis and business cases that help leadership evaluate investments, new opportunities, and operational decisions.
