Job summary

NextDeavor in Miami, FL is seeking a Cost/Price Analyst for an 18-month contract. You will shape pricing decisions that affect divisional profitability, working with product managers, field sales, and leadership.

Standard daytime shift, guaranteed 40 hours per week, with pricing authority for list prices, discounts, and rebates. Design continuous improvement methods to streamline pricing, develop reporting to measure pricing effectiveness, analyze markets for ceiling/floor prices, and support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficient in Excel and Access.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Project management ability; coordinate with sales/marketing and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • General understanding of manufacturing processes, practices, and cost accounting.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of pricing information.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement continuous pricing improvements.

You will help shape pricing decisions that affect divisional profitability and long-term strategy, working closely with product managers, field sales, and divisional leadership. This is an 18-month contract role with a standard daytime shift and guaranteed 40 hours per week, where your analyses will directly inform list pricing, discounts, and exception pricing authority.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team


  • Design and implement continuous improvement methods to streamline pricing processes and reduce waste.

  • Develop systems and reporting improvements to measure and monitor pricing effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Analyze product markets to determine ceiling and floor prices and evaluate pricing versus volume, cost, competition, and distribution.

  • Monitor and reinforce corporate strategic pricing initiatives across divisions.

  • Create feedback mechanisms and tools for product managers and field sales to support successful pricing models.

  • Assist divisions in setting list prices, standard discounts, rebates, and managing price increase communications and publication.

  • Analyze exception pricing processes and recommend guidelines and authority levels.

  • Produce management reports to enable timely responses to economic and market changes and perform ongoing pricing effectiveness measurements.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Project management skills; ability to coordinate with sales/marketing and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • General understanding of manufacturing processes, practices, and cost accounting.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of pricing information.

Pay Range

$36.00 - $45.00/hour
