Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing cost estimates and pricing proposals for new and continuing business opportunities, including government audits (DCMA/DCAA).
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, CAS, FAR, and applicable pricing regulations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, assembly processes, and associated cost structures.
• Proficiency in cost estimating, pricing, accounting systems, spreadsheets, databases, and business applications.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and support negotiations.

** Job Description:**

• Responsible for analyzing historical and projected cost data to develop accurate, competitive, and profitable pricing strategies for new and existing business opportunities.
• Prepares and evaluates cost proposals, bids, pricing models, and financial reports while assessing risks, profitability, and potential financial impacts.
• Supports contract negotiations, ensures compliance with FAR, CAS, and applicable government regulations, and provides cost and pricing recommendations to management. Analyzes manufacturing costs, standard versus actual costs, and make-or-buy decisions.
• Leads continuous improvement initiatives, supports government audits, develops cost analysis processes, and provides guidance and mentorship to team members.

** Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing cost estimates and pricing proposals for new and continuing business opportunities, including TINA proposals and government audits (DCMA/DCAA).
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and applicable pricing regulations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, assembly processes, and associated cost structures.
• Proficiency in cost estimating, pricing, accounting systems, spreadsheets, databases, and business applications.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, present findings, and support contract negotiations.
