Job summary

AISIN USA Manufacturing is seeking a Cost Analyst to support cost estimation, analysis, and reduction efforts in Seymour, Indiana. The role focuses on understanding cost structures, tracking cost drivers, and reporting cost and profit status to management.

You will collaborate with purchasing and engineering to drive cost improvements. The ideal candidate has cost or financial literacy, project leadership experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• General knowledge about profit and loss and cost structures.
• Experience leading small group projects.
• Ability to learn technical concepts quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Create estimations and analyze costs to promote cost reduction efforts.
• Understand cost structure and monitor cost conditions to plan actions.
• Report cost and profit status to managers and follow up on targets.
• Communicate problems or delays to managers and propose solutions.
• Understand drawings or process changes and their cost impact.
• Summarize cost estimates to clarify cost and profit status.

Job Description

• Create estimations, summarize and analyze to promote activities and follow up on product cost reduction.
• Understand cost structure and analyze cost conditions to build plans, promote activities, and follow up on them. (including recovery from customers, setting reduction targets for purchasing or engineering).
• Report cost and profit status to managers and follow up with others to achieve targets.
• Report any problems or delays in activities to managers and promote solutions.
• Understand drawings or process changes and their cost impact, sharing status and agreeing on next actions with others.
• Summarize cost estimations to help others understand cost and profit status, and explain them clearly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• General knowledge about profit and loss
• Leading small group project experience
• Ability to learn technical expertise
• Microsoft office
