Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, industrial, mechanical engineering or related field.
• 10 years of experience in manufacturing, costing, project or program management preferred.
• Knowledge of key financial principles (Standard Costing, growth margin, business plan).
• Engineering/manufacturing background required; experience in comparable manufacturing industries preferred.
• Understanding cost structures across design and manufacturing work instructions is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost reduction activities with identified owners across product lines.
• Optimize the full family of parts to reduce costs across the product line.
• Provide recurring cost estimates for bids, advanced projects and developments (including aftermarket).
• Create standardized parametric recurring cost models and tools per commodity with cross-functional support; improve them over time.
• Support Change Control Boards by assessing cost impacts of changes.
• Support make/buy decisions ensuring cost-optimized strategies.
