Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager to join our growing Commercial Real Estate team in the United States. You will provide cost management services across the project lifecycle, ensuring effective planning, oversight, and financial control.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of cost management experience in construction, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or related field.
• 3–5 years of cost management experience in construction.
• RICS accreditation valued or pursuing.
• Experience on medium to large construction projects.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advising client on strategies, managing prequalification of vendors, assessing proposals and bids, and chairing bid interviews.
• Developing project estimates for construction, fees, direct costs, and reviewing estimates.
• Establishing cost reporting schedule and presenting forecasts and budgets.
• Managing cost control, change orders, and contractor entitlements.
