Turner & Townsend in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to support construction cost services across real estate developments, data centers, and civil infrastructure. The role emphasizes managing estimates, cost reporting, and value engineering with client-facing responsibilities.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant bachelor's degree with 3–5 years of cost management or quantity surveying experience, preferably in data centers or mission-critical projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant cost management experience in construction.
• RICS accreditation is valuable or working towards it.
• Experience on medium/large constructions, ideally including MEP-intensive projects.
• Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement routes, value management and value engineering.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Advise client on strategies, prequalify vendors, assess proposals and bids, and chair interviews.
• Develop project estimates for construction, fees and other costs; review junior staff estimates.
• Present estimates and value engineering recommendations to client; review costs with vendors.
• Establish cost reporting schedules; review budgets and forecasts with client.
• Manage invoicing processes; monitor cost control and contract variations.
• Conduct final accounting and post-contract reviews; capture lessons learned.
• Prepare bid analysis sheets and use cost estimation and take-off software.
