Linesight in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Cost Manager to lead cost control across varied construction projects. You will work with experienced teams to manage budgets, prepare cost plans, and communicate value to clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management on varied projects.
• Degree or comparable experience in a cost management or construction discipline.
• Dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines.
• Willing to travel for short periods to meet with clients, partners and team.
• Ability to build strong relationships with team and clients through openness and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Resolve commercial, change orders and contract issues quickly and fairly.
• Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including handling of claims to ensure client gets best value.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Support nimble project management and clear decisions through cost documentation and timely communication.
• Actively participate in the tender/bid process—from initial tender/bid documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and clearly communicate variations to the team.
