Job summary

STV Group in Philadelphia, PA seeks a Cost Manager to join the Project Controls department. You will manage budgets, forecasts, and actual costs while overseeing contract/workflow approvals and change orders for healthcare projects.

You will coordinate with Project Managers, prepare monthly cost reports and dashboards, and ensure compliance with client procedures. Strong experience in Prolog Manager and related tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field from an accredited College or University.
• Minimum 5 years in Project Controls, preferably in a cost management role.
• Experience with Prolog Manager; Prolog Converge/Crystal Reports is preferred.
• Experience with Meditech Finance System is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize client requests and communicate professionally.
• Detail oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track and manage program budget, commitments, forecasts, and actual costs.

Job description

STV has an exciting opportunityfor a Cost Manager to join our Project Controls department at our Philadelphia, PA offices toperform Project controls duties under the direct supervision of the Engineer of Construction for the following:

• Tracking and management of program budget, commitments, forecasts, and actual costs.
• Monitor contract and invoice workflow approvals.
• Preparation, processing, and progress tracking of change orders for extra work.
• Tracking and distribution of all vendor and contractor contract authorizations.
• Preparation and maintenance of all documentation related to contract contingencies and allowances.
• Review and processing of contractor prepared payment applications and all diversity and inclusion plans and achievement reporting.
• Preparation of monthly report budget and cost reports, including program dashboards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to collect updated forecast information
• Implementation and compliance with all current client procedures and requirements.
• Data entry related to all of the above.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field from an accredited College or University.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Controls, preferably in a cost management role.
• Required experience managing budgeted / cost in Prolog Manager
• Preferred experience with Prolog Converge Administration and/or Crystal Reports
• Preferred experience with Meditech Finance System
• Ability to prioritize client requests and communicate orally and electronically in a professional
• Must be flexible, detail oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work and consistently meet deadlines.
• Prior healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver’s
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, PowerPoint, SAP is desirable.

Compensation Range

$83,978.91 - $95,975.90
