Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking a Cost Management Analyst for the Jackson, TN plant to support financial analysis and cost functions. You will work with Accounting & Finance to monitor costs and drive cost reduction activities, including monthly closings and ad-hoc analyses.

The role may involve support for other plants as needed. The position emphasizes in-depth accounting knowledge, problem solving, and collaboration with various shop departments to meet KPI targets as electrification prepares

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting operating expenses.
• Experience supporting Monthly Close Processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office 365 tools (Teams & SharePoint).
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost leadership for Jackson TN Manufacturing management, including budget coordination, cost reporting and analysis, and ad-hoc support related to cost inquiries.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial closing, completing monthly journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Conduct shop cost actual versus budget, forecast, and ideal cost planning target variance analysis.
• Review, analyze, and route operating ringis in support of plant operations.
• Perform cost lead activities, including go-and-see activities to support cost reduction reporting and system reconciliation.
• Provide physical inventory support & audit as needed.
• Participate in activities which support Toyota Way culture at the NAMC.
