Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Cost Management Analyst to join our BPI Buildings & Places Team in New York, NY. This entry-level role supports cost reports, change orders, and invoice review on a major project.

You will input data into cost reports, assist with bid analysis, organize cost meetings, and monitor closeout documents. A bachelor’s degree and IT proficiency are required; Primavera or MS Project experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of professional experience in a related technical field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Experience with Primavera or Microsoft Projects is preferred.
• Must understand and utilize IT tools including Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, MS Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Supports the preparation and issuance of periodic cost reports.
• Input PO, orders and invoices into the cost report where applicable.
• Support the review of change orders in accordance with the client’s approval process.
• Prepares and routinely monitors a change order log.
• Review and monitor all the invoices for the project.
• May code the invoices where applicable and forward them to the client's account payable department.
• Support the procurement of construction and engineering services, including preparing RFP and bid analysis, where applicable.
• Supports the overview of contractor buyout of subcontract bid packages, where applicable.
• Organize and attend bi-weekly cost meetings to review procurement status and change order status with the contractors and engineering teams.
• Support the review of contractor closeout documents.

About You

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $75,000 - $85,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
