  • Review contracts in partnership with the Project Manager and Project Technical Leads (PTLs) to identify quality-related deliverables, clarify expectations, and ensure the project’s quality approach is embedded early in the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) plans submitted by subconsultants to confirm they meet AtkinsRéalis US requirements and the project-specific QP, recommending adjustments where gaps or inconsistencies are identified.
  • Conduct detailed quality assurance reviews of work products and certify that all deliverables fully comply with the project’s Quality Plan prior to client submission.
  • Lead required subconsultant quality assessments to validate their adherence to project and corporate quality standards, documenting findings and following up on required corrective actions.

  • Participate in client- or owner-led external audits, providing project documentation, responding to inquiries, and representing the project’s quality processes.
  • Document all project non-conformances identified against the Company Management System (CMS) and ensure issues are tracked, communicated, and resolved in alignment with corporate procedures.
  • Approve and confirm completion of preventive and corrective actions, verifying that all steps have been implemented effectively and that recurring issues are addressed holistically rather than symptomatically.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including reports, logs, trackers, and project quality bulletins, ensuring information is accurate, timely, and accessible to project stakeholders.
  • Report all quality-related events, including near misses and incidents, to appropriate internal stakeholders and maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by contributing insights, participating in discussions, and helping project teams identify opportunities to enhance processes and outcomes.
  • Train project teams on AtkinsRéalis US quality requirements, project-specific procedures, and client-driven expectations, ensuring that all participants understand their quality responsibilities throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Provide ongoing quality management consultation and direction to project design consultants, construction management teams, sub-consultants, and supplier/contractor organizations to support consistent application of quality standards across all disciplines.
  • Guide multidisciplinary project teams and emerging quality professionals, helping them navigate corporate processes, understand project constraints, and develop strong quality-focused decision-making skills.
  • Participate in quality-related discussions and assist in problem-solving when quality events or issues emerge, collaborating with technical and management teams to determine solutions.
  • Ensure effective use of digital quality tools throughout the project, helping teams adopt technology to improve accuracy, documentation quality, and compliance.
  • Store all quality-related documentation in project directories using standardized structure and naming conventions to maintain organization and traceability.
  • Recommend system improvements and implement required corporate updates, ensuring project teams remain aligned with evolving quality processes and tools.
  • Communicate quality issues, concerns, and emerging risks to Senior Project Quality Managers or the Quality Group in a timely, clear, and actionable manner.
  • Coordinate and interface regularly with senior project managers, technical managers, senior technical professionals, project teams, and senior quality managers to ensure alignment on project quality expectations.
  • Attend meetings with clients, subconsultant leaders, and contractor teams, representing the project’s quality approach, documenting feedback, and ensuring that stakeholder expectations are understood and incorporated into project execution.
