Qualifications

• Experience in cost accounting, plant accounting, or manufacturing finance.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, timely, and consistent accounting records in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Support cost accounting activities including manufacturing cost analysis, inventory, tooling, fixed assets, and program-related expenses.
• Analyze cost variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts; identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month-end close activities.
• Review capital expenditures to ensure proper accounting treatment, coding, and documentation.
• Assist with financial planning, forecasting, business plan preparation, and audit requirements.
• Develop and maintain financial controls, reporting processes, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Provide accurate and relevant management reporting to support operational and financial decision-making.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on strengthening financial processes and plant performance.
