Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains updated and accurate filing and data systems for quick reference of records.
• Fulfills reporting requirements for rebates and other ad hoc requests.
• Assists in consolidation of inter-company transactions.
• Processes financial close including nightly close in JD Edwards and month-end checks.
• Collaborates with corporate accounting on reconciliations and journal entries.
• Compiles and analyzes cost data and maintains standard cost for purchased products.
• Records and reviews cost calculations with management for price consistency.
• Reconciles variance issues and determines causes.
• Manages cost and specification sheets for budgets and forecasts.
• Enters budget information onto overhead sheets by department and summarizes by location.
• Verifies accuracy of statistical and financial reports.
