Under supervision, you will support pre-award/post-award activities, perform audits, and ensure compliance with FAR/CAS. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in finance, accounting, or business administration in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of costing concepts, pricing, and standard practices.
• Experience negotiating and working in government contracting; ability to analyze costing problems.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication; proficient with spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to work extended hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for management planning, bids, and vendor selection.
• Compiles and analyzes data to determine feasibility of pricing and cost objectives.
• Develops standard hour data and cost reduction studies.
• Interfaces with internal teams and outside vendors to gather data and assess make/buy decisions.
• Analyzes blueprints/specifications to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Prepares itemized lists of material and labor requirements.
• Gathers data for cost analyses and determines manufacturing costs within divisions.
• Performs pre- and post-award audits and fact-finding activities.
• Interprets FAR and CAS pricing regulations.
• Maintains pricing spreadsheets and creates reports/graphs of findings.
• Complies with laws, regulations, and safety practices in all activities.
