Job summary

Acuity-PT&C is seeking a Cost Estimator/Cost Analyst to support the U.S. Department of Energy at the Hanford Site in Richland, WA. The role covers cost estimating, acquisition support, earned value, scheduling, and performance analysis for high-value projects.

You will develop IGCEs, analyze cost elements, and provide data-driven recommendations to aid contract and project decisions, collaborating with technical teams and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related.
• 5 years of experience in cost estimating, cost analysis, or project controls.
• Certifications such as PMP, CCP, EVP, PSP are desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills with data analysis and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Develop IGCEs for capital asset, design-build, and infrastructure projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, subcontract, and equipment costs.
• Analyze scope, drawings, and technical docs to produce defensible estimates.
• Lead estimate development and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Evaluate contractor proposals for cost reasonableness and compliance.
