Job Description
Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking a Cost Engineer/Cost Manager to support construction cost services. The ideal candidate will be driven and aligned with our company values.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on strategies, manage vendor prequalification, assess proposals and bids, make recommendations, chair bid interviews, and oversee the appointment process.
• Develop and review project estimates, present to clients, recommend value engineering solutions, and utilize benchmark data for accuracy.
• Establish and review cost reports and forecasts, manage project budgets, and conduct risk assessments.
• Oversee cost control processes, review payment applications, liaise on change orders, and manage contractual disputes.
• Monitor invoicing processes, benchmark project performance, and manage final accounting and post-contract reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in cost management within construction.
• RICS accreditation or progress towards it is preferred.
• Experience with medium to large construction projects and consultancy is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry practices and excellent communication skills.
