Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions, a Quanta Services company, is seeking a Cost Engineer/APM – Gas Operations to support planning, coordination, and execution of gas distribution projects in Grand Prairie, TX. Travel to active project sites is required and you will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.

Responsibilities include cost control, scheduling, estimating support, and project reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Track project costs against budget across labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor spend.
• Support cost forecasting and estimate-vs-actual analysis.
• Assist with change order cost impact review and pricing changes.
• Support progress billing, invoice reviews, and AP/AR coordination.
• Maintain logs of project updates and permitting progress.
• Prepare status reports highlighting cost and schedule risks.
