Job summary

IntelliPro is seeking a Cost Controls Specialist to support a large capital generator outage project in Mount Storm, WV. The role partners with Project Managers and Project Controls to manage financial, contractual, and accounting processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include creating POs, processing COs, developing forecasts, tracking budgets and invoices, and ensuring compliance with milestones.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience supporting capital projects with cost controls and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, accruals, invoices, and contract tracking.
• Hands-on experience with SAP (financial/accounting transactions preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerApps).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Assist with audit documentation and financial reporting.
• Generate SAP cost reports and analyze forecast vs. actual spending.
• Recommend process improvements and support project controls activities.

Position Title: Cost Controls Specialist
Location: Mount Storm, WV 26739 (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $50–$52/hour on W2
Duration: 4 Months (Possible Extension)
Job Id: #173655
Schedule: 40 hours/week with occasional overtime based on project needs
Mobilization/Demobilization: $500 one-time payment at the beginning and end of the assignment (subject to project policy).
Per Diem: Available for qualified candidates at GSA CONUS rates.
