UIC Oil and Gas Support (UICOGS) is seeking a Cost Controller to support financial operations and assist project teams in creating, managing, and distributing cost control information for construction projects.

The role involves inputting, tracking, and reporting on project costs, collaborating with management to plan and execute cost control functions for government and private sector projects. Strong data accuracy and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of construction accounting systems.
• Extensive knowledge of construction accounting processes and documentation.
• Knowledge of government and private sector invoicing methods.
• Ability to coordinate with internal and external personnel.
• Ability to read and understand reports with efficiency.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Access and Publisher.

Responsibilities

• Input job numbers, phase codes and budgets for new projects into the cost system.
• Develop detailed cost tracking structures with project teams.
• Review and reconcile payroll, time sheets, and equipment recaps.
• Provide accurate cost reports and support monthly project reviews.
• Assist in evaluating change orders and budget variances.
• Maintain confidential project information and files.
