gFiber is seeking a Project Controls Specialist I, Cost Analysis in Charlotte, NC to partner with Project Controls Managers and Field Operations, ensuring projects stay on time and on budget while developing cost tools and standards, and serving as the SME for cost control.

You will deliver monthly and quarterly cost analyses, build financial projections, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve budgeting and reporting processes.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in project controls, construction coordination, cost analysis, or related roles.
• Experience working with spreadsheets for data reconciliation and insight generation.
• Experience analyzing raw data into actionable insights.

Mansioni

• Provide central point of contact for cost control for regional and metro project controls, accounting, and technical operations teams.
• Partner with Project Controls Managers and cross functional partners through training and regular office hours to ensure alignment across regional team members.
• Identify process inefficiencies, assess risk, and create solutions for central implementation of budgets, controls and schedules for centralized project controls team.
• Provide financial support through monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including cost analysis and variance reporting to drive business insights and resource planning.
• Support development of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial projections and reports based on analysis of consumption and productivity data then work with cross-functional partners to ensure regular monthly reconciliations, spend governance, reviews, and approvals.
