Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Cost Management Intern for our New York, NY office. The role involves pricing investigations, reviewing outputs for errors, and assisting cost managers with assessments of scope and schedule.

Interns will perform data analytics, modeling, and help prepare cost reports while gaining hands-on experience with industry leaders and mentorship from professionals across the business. Entry-level opportunity with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• EXPERIENCE: No experience required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours toward a civil engineering, architecture, construction management, finance or related program degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• SPECIAL SKILLS: Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases. Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform material pricing investigations.
• Review cost management outputs for math/logic errors.
• Assist cost managers with cost related assessments of scope and schedule.
• Perform cost data analytics review and modeling, as required.
• Support in the preparation of cost reports.
