Job summary

Truity Partners in Milwaukee seeks a Cost Analyst with 3+ years of cost or manufacturing accounting experience. You will maintain and update costing records, standard costs, BOMs and routings, analyze cost variances, and support month‑end close while collaborating with estimating, engineering and operations to refine costing assumptions based on actual performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cost accounting or manufacturing accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to analyze problems and deliver incremental improvements.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update costing records, standard costs, BOMs, routings, and overhead rates.
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliations and support cost reporting.
• Analyze job-level cost variances and document root causes.
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and operations to refine costing assumptions.
• Support month-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Provide cost analysis and process improvement for quoting, margins and ERP upgrades.
