Job summary

Truity Partners is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst in Sauk County, Wisconsin. You will analyze product, manufacturing, and operational costs, build cost models, and support budgeting and forecasting with leadership across operations and finance.

The role requires a strong accounting foundation, 3–10+ years in cost accounting or FP&A, and advanced Excel/ERP skills. You will contribute to continuous improvement and deliver insightful financial reporting to guide decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3–10+ years of progressive experience in cost accounting, cost analysis, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, or related finance role.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to interpret large data sets.

Responsibilities

Analyze product, manufacturing, and operational costs to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
Prepare and maintain cost models, standard costing data, and profitability analyses.
Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes by partnering with operational and finance leaders.
Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations.
Develop financial reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses to support business decision-making.
Analyze inventory, labor, overhead, and production costs to improve operational performance.
Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate cost accounting and financial reporting.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and efficiencies.
Assist with month-end close activities related to inventory, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
